The flood was only 40 days and nights. And so it's proposterous to think that god killed everyone on the PLANET. people could have survived on rafts for that amount of time.
Just more proof that god doesn't exist; and the stories about him are made up.

The Bible says that Noah, his wife, their three sons and their 3 wives survived the flood. That is eight people. To speculate anything else is just that, speculation and would it change the way the world is today?
Matthew 24:36-42: "“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39 and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned; 41 two women will be grinding at the hand mill: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned. 42 Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming.'

A fisherman in a little boat would have been poorly equipped to handle such a devastating deluge. It would have long since been swamped by the nonstop rain for 40 days. Only Noah's Ark was designed specifically to handle the rough seas created by the flood and carry the necessary food and supplies for a year. (It didn't rain for a year, but they were in the boat for a year.) Noah had been building the boat for over 100 years and had been inviting people to join him, but they didn't believe him. No one else prepared for the flood except the 8 people on the Ark. A guy just out fishing in a dinghy would have been totally unprepared.

Its true, Noah and his wife, his three sons, and their wives were the only people saved from the largest flood of all time.
Genesis 7:23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; men and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds of the air were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.

Noah and his family survived the flood as they were prepared for it. Think about it this way: if you have a fishing boat, are you planning for it to be waterlogged for months or just a few hours per day? They were ill-equipped and succumbed.

you have to understand the language of the Hebrews in the Old Testament, when it says the whole world it really means the Hebrew world and not the entire planet, the Israelites spoke this way considering anywhere outside of their homeland as nothing.
the flood was localized and only destroyed a vast area around the Black Sea and destroyed the peoples there who had sinned so much.

I believe that it is possible, because there were many races surviving around the world during that time, and the story is only about Noah.
