A thick sirloin steak grilled to perfection, sauteed mushrooms with garlic, grilled spring onions,a jacket potato with butter, creme fraiche and bacon bits, and cauliflower cheese. I have to say-it was WONDERFUL!
What's the best meal you've ever cooked for yourself?

Franja-I'm usually the same way! But I have the weekend all to myself this weekend, and I decided to pamper myself a bit! At the moment I'm enjoyed a lovely white burgundy. Mmmmm...
But now,I keep thinking I want to go to either Fantasy Angel's house (Pumpkin pancakes? I'm drooling!!) or R.M.'s house for my breakfast!!

That sounds dee-lish!
The best thing I made lately was fettichini alfredo with shrimp, snow peas, and sauteed mushrooms.

Every meal I cook is the best of it's variety.
My preference is standing rib roast but, we can't eat it every day.

Sounds wonderful - and makes me realise what a sad cow I am!
I tend to eat toast when I'm 'cooking' for myself.
I love cooking for others - and have quite a reputation for my cooking abilities.
Maybe your question is my wake-up call to stop trying to please others and try to please myself!
Trouble is - what pleases me MOST is cooking for others to enjoy!
Like I said... maybe I'm just a sad cow!
