Just ask him to stop in front of your girlfriend, now he has no way to lie about what he's been doing, then drop him like a hot rock.Unless he has the guts to apologize to you and her.But it's no reason to fight about it cause she is going to choose who she wants regardless.Showing some maturity will make you look good in her eyes and your own and in the eyes of others.

First of all, if he is your "mate" he wouldn't compete with you and try to take your girlfriend. Secondly, she would turn down his offer of unwanted favors. Sounds like he's not a friend and if you don't trust your girl, you should be picking better people. Since you don't seem to know if you're girlfriend is going to change her loyalty or not have a talk with her and tell her the "mate" should be surgically removed from her life and yours for the sake of your relationship

This guy is certainly not a mate. If he was he wouldn't be going after your girl. If you are being attentive and caring towards your girlfriend I wouldn't worry about her leaving you. If you don't give people a reason to look elsewhere for what they need they won't. As far as your "mate" goes you should cut him out of your life. Tell him you don't appreciate him hitting on your girlfriend and you can't be friends with someone that selfish. Don't answer his calls, ignore him if you see him out and about and ask your girlfriend to do the same.

Ok Tj, here's the thing: the guy is not your mate. He is the devil in sneakers. No real friend would do that to you and you have to trust your girl to know that. Lose the loser and she's bound to have less contact with him. She may just answer the phone thinking he's calling about you.

stop trying to impress her, just be yourself and act caring. this way you will win her for sure. and you do not have to win her, she is already with you.
just tell this guy that this girl is going out with you and he'd better back off. if he doesn't just stop talking to him. he seems like a jerk and most girls do not like jerks so do not worry

The guy's not a friend. You need to stop hanging out with him, and if your "girl" cares about you, she'll ditch him too.
Why does your "girl" take his phone calls ?

Um, she's with you for a reason. This "he'll-be-better-than-I-am" stuff is bullsh--. Take a chill pill, and BTW, if your "friend" is calling you names and trying to make you sound bad - HE IS NOT A FRIEND.
