God, Grant me the serenity to accept what I can not change, the courage to change what I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

It is the Serenity Prayer, I have three glass plated posters of it.

Some sarcastic varients, change the last line to...The wisdom to hide the bodies of those who got in my way when I was unable to do either.

It's called the "Serenity Prayer", used at 12 step programs... "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference". I think it's author is anonymous
