If your due in January and the baby .. That is called a Still born... They usually do have a funeral for that kind of death your child is fully developed and isn't a fetus no more..
No if your about 3 months pregnant you would bleed the fetus out .. Every woman is different some will look really pale and bleed alot till the fetus(Blood Clot) comes out
Some woman feel alot of pain other don't ..
Some cases depending on how far along the child is you will have to get it out of you by surgery or natural labor..
I hope this helps you .. Please if you are worried go ask a doctor he or she can help you better then this ...

You dont miscarry after 32 weeks. You have preterm labor and a premie. Typically anything born after 20 weeks is considered medically viable, and in most cases everything is done to preserve the life of the early baby. You can have a still birth after 32 weeks, which is a baby born dead.
A baby born a month early is completely viable, since by that point you're about 36 weeks and considered full term. If its Dec, and you're due in Jan, unless the baby is dead inside you, you simply give birth and have a baby who needs medical attention. The chances of losing that baby are slim.
When you have a miscarriage you're typically early on, before the second half of your second trimester, and your body simply flushes out the baby. The doctor doesnt remove it. You bleed heavily and have contractions and cramps and pass the baby, placenta, and uterine lining all out. In some cases a D&C is preformed to ensure all the parts of the placenta and lining were removed, to prevent infection.
You do have a funeral if you want one for any child you lose. You pay for the plot and the service. For a baby that is miscarried, still born, or dies of prematurity, you have a full on funeral.
