I seen this over and over they are very religious people where is their faith ? Shouldn't they be asking the Good Lord for help with Mexico and stick it out? Instead they enter America and break a number of law's and nothing changes in Mexico, casue there is nobody there looking up for help, their all looking over to America for that. The Churches in Mexico accept money from the drug lords then wonder why they are not prospering. Where is all their faith at ?

I don't believe faith (or lack of) has anything to do with their poverty. Stick it out? Did you know that school is free for the Mexican children until grade 6? After that, if any further education is to be had, it costs to be educated. The average DAILY wage for most Mexican workers is a grand total of $3.00. That's a DAY, not an HOUR. Because of the grandiose Free Trade Agreement (what a STUPID thing THAT was), the cost of living has risen in Mexico a great deal - but the wages didn't. Faith doesnt' create money.

First of all being religious is relative. Not all people who are religious are good people, and you should not make such a generalization as you do. Mexican People are mostly Catholic and one would think that the Church would help the poor, instead they preach birth control is a sin. Most poverty is caused by people who have more children then they can support. Instead of all the gold and circumstance it is time that the Catholic Church
stop the pomp and circumstance and stop being one of the causes of poverty, instead they must educate people to read and write and about birth control, the social improvements would be amazing.and the poverty in South American Countries would decline.

I think it is faith that helps their dreams of a better life ,that they are willing to risk great dangers on the way to a better life ,(at least the hope of one!) Would you take a leap of faith like that?Do you know what the Human Spirt can acieve once it makes up his mind that he has to go for his dream? You can't keep a man with dreams ,down!!!! Legal or not THE WORLD wants a piece of the Amercan Dream.( not only Mexicans they just happen to be neigbors!!!!!!!!!

I read all the posts. It appears we have 2 Mexicans with different views. One blames the immigrant problem on his own country and the other blames it on the USA. The only blame that should be on the USA,is for allowing Mexico to send their immigrants over here. Mexico is turning over their problem to the USA. Mexico is not taking care of their own country and people. They want the USA to foot the bill.

Remember that America is a free country, and that what this country was called by historians "the melting pot of the world".

What about all the people that are here from India, Russa, England, Canada?

Did you know that people from Canada that own huge RV's move to Mexico's coast to live in RV parks to escape the harsh Canadian winter? In mexico they are called "snow birds".
All white people, all wealthy.

Did you know that in Mexico that these people can't even buy ibuprophan? There are websites dedicated to looking for people that are going to Mexico to take over the counter medicines to the areas of Mexico that are repeatdly hurrican stricken and poverty stricken.

Where is your faith? Faith in all man kind, no matter from which country we live, love love thy neighbor as thyself.
I love myself a lot. I really do and I would do anything that My God asked me to do. Would you?

It probably is possible to be religious and still care if youre family will have enough wealth to be able to eat tomorrow... I'm glad to see the land of the free/home of the brave only believe in freedom for their own countrymen and only have the bravery to join the bandwagon of racism and discrimination... You even point out the corruption in Mexico... would you want to stay?

Only stupid people do stupid questions!!!

God does not come down and save people from their problems, he gives streinght for them to find a solution regardless of the country they are in, there are no countries for God.

Don't you think it s quite stupid to expect that anybody in trouble (not only Mexicans) shoud just sit and pray and expect to have everything arranged for them? Maybe in your little mind things work that way, but in reality, you have to seek your own way through life. But obviously someone like you that has everything solved would not ever undertsatd what immigrants go through.

No, America takes from every country that is why immigrants come here. They want in on the money, they want to feed their family, they want to be a normal human being like everyone else. If America would stop raping "weaker" countries of their natural resources maybe everyone else in the world could live like us fat slobs in their own country. AND BELIVE ME THEY WOULD RATHER LIVE IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY.
