Here's the scoop, I'm recently out of a five year relationship and I'm new to the dating scene. This guy approached me at a store and we started talking. He seemed really interested in me and told me I was cute and asked for my number. I took his too but he said he would call me that evening. It's two days later and I'm really confused since he approached me. Should I just forget about it and move on or should I give him a call, and if I call... what do I say???

nonono!!! by no means restrain, its a guy - keep in mind guys do that- always ask for womens numbers either to boast, to have a back up plan or they dont know at the moment of asking - just chasing an opportunity.
I gather you are attractive girl - so be cool, patient and the love will come by itself:D
ont fall into the trap of securing the first the smiles nicely.
You were out of a relationship, take your time to choose, dont plunge to the first to come - u shall see choosing can be fun too:)

good luck;)

Okay, this is a tricky one because sometimes I think the same thing. Why do guys approach you and then do not call you once they get your number.

Heres the thing. There are men who will express feelings and not care that you think they like you. These are the men who will call right away and when they say they will once they get your phone number.

Then there are the ones who will ask for your number than call a week later if at all.

To answer your question, I know its frustrating but do not call him. Because bottom line is he is one of these guys or he is plainly no longer interested. I am not trying to be mean because this has happened to me also.

Besides if you call him even after he did not call you it may seem a tad desperate and needy. The best way to make a man want you is to not give into the chase before it begins!

Okay, most guys say they'll call that evening but they don't they usually wait a few days... they don't wanna seem desperate. Give another day or so then call him and don't mention that he said he would call cause he's a guy and they have bad memory.

Call if you want, but it's not likely that there was anything more to it than "I'll call you sometime". If you can live with that, then call.

Give him a call. Ask him, why he has not called you.

If he said he would call you and didn't then forget about him.

flirt with him. tell him you would quite opt for to communicate lower back and ask him his digits! don't be shy.. or also you may want to tutor him this question and ask what he might want to do with this? he might want to get the clue.
