How do we know that we are using the right path that god has choosen for us. What if we make a bad decision? How can we fix it?

God had the blueprint layed out for our lives long before we were born. He knows the mistakes we're going to make and the bad decisions we're going to make. Either way it all fits into His divine plan for our lives. remember; God sometimes uses evil to bring about the ultimate good.

Read the bible. If you are living by Christ's example then you are on the right path. If not then you can simply pick up the bible and start then on the right path. If you make a poor decision then ask for forgiveness and move on with getting back to the right path.

This is something that I too have been looking into. What I have found is that God knows what we are going to do; he knows our mess ups and is creating his amazing plan around this. He makes the best of our mistakes (what an amazing God) but this does not make it OK for us to just "go with the flow", we have to try to do the right thing.
If you feel like you made a wrong choice, pray about it and ask for forgiveness, that's how you fix it.

The way you know if a decision you make is good or bad is the effect that you get from the cause you set in motion! There is no God needed! Life is all about cause and effect!
Besides who could hope to understand a God that will kill 42 children just for calling someone old baldy! A real sick God that one!

God has given us His Word to guide us. He has commanded us to study His Word to be approved of Him. 2 Timothy 2: 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. In the pages of the Bible is the answer to any question that you may have about life. God's behaviors seems random. He doesn't answer all prayers nor give reason for not answering them. He wipes out his own creation. His words, dictated by him, can be misconstrued and misused, despite their divinity, to turn his own creation against itself. I would trust the programming He gave you before the words that others tell you. Of course, you'd have to figure out which is which.
