went out with a girl last night and because I am busy all weekend we are seeing each other on monday, on the way home she said it was a shame we had to wait till then but we can text. Here is the problem I am not used to the whole texting thing, when do i text her and what do i say???
I hate texting and rarely do it, i would much rather call her on sunday evening and see how her weeked was and arrange monday!!
In addition:
I just found a message i sent when i got home saying i would text her before monday, can I still get away with calling her tomorrow?? or do i need to text her tonight?

best to start off by being honest.
text her (before monday) sayng "hi, I'm crap at texting - do you mind if we don't?"
live life the way you want to...
anything else is too stressful
...even texting

Anyway, texts are the BEST. Us girls love them. Don't stress man!! Here are some ideas for you texting her:
"Hey, how's your day going?"
"I had a great time last night. Can't wait till Monday."
"Hey cutie, hope you had a good day today. MY day was crazy busy."
SHe probably just casually mentioned you guys texting each other because texts take about two seconds to do and she knows that if you're busy that texting should "technically" be easier on your busy schedule than a long drawn-out phone call.

It's so nice to hear a guy say he doesn't like text and would rather call. Be honest with her and say that you prefer calling, she should be really pleased :o)
You could to be on the safe side just text her, i'll call you tomorrow or later today (depending on when you are going to call) or let her wait and it be even more of a surprise when she gets your call. Hope it goes well and great to hear telephone calls are still being used.

don't be shy - texting is the easiest way of communication as they aren;t there, you can think about what u have to say. send her a text and tell her you are looking forward to seeing her on monday - and ask her how her wknd was

if you feel more comfortable with calling her- DO IT! She'll be happily surprised, it will show you want to hear her voice, and best of all you'd be more comfortable!
