Give her time and space. If she still has romantic feelings for you, it'll take time for her to get over the sudden loss of the type of relationship she had with you. Basically, she's got to grieve. Once she's done that, she'll be able to develop a friendship with you on different terms.
Assuming you broke up with her in a sensitive manner that didn't cause her to feel humiliated and assuming that you have been a good friend, she'll likely come to see the value of preserving that friendship, even if it isn't on romantic terms.
But don't rush her. Remember that the pain of a breakup usually is felt much more keenly by the person on the receiving end of the break up. If you really want her as a friend and you want to be a good friend to her, you'll respect her feelings and give her time to come around.

If you broke up with her, why do you care if she knows that you still like her? A lot of people still "like" each other when they break up and have feelings for one another, but they're usually broken up because even though they may both be in love, they know that in the long run, they will not be compatible and will do more harm to each other than good.
So...why do you still want to be in contact with your girlfriend if you know it won't work out in the long run? Even if you do still like her?

Well, after a guy breaks up with a girl. And the guy tells the girl that he still likes her, well, the girl just can't belive how he can like her. But doesn't want to be with her.
If you still like her, then go get back with her.

why did you break up with her in the first place? you can't around and breaking up with girls and expect for them to believe you that you still like them. that's called being selfish and not caring for other people. you hurt her. now let her be. if she doesn't want to talk to you or even believe you it's her choice. sorry I'm being to harsh. but it's true.

Broke up is over, my friend.
What she believes is no longer your concern.
You are now free to give your time & energy to other pursuits besides trying to convince her of things.
Don't sweat the small stuff, & move on.

Let her not believe you.
If you like her be persistant man... consistance & persistsncy helps in such cases. But first improve your self confidence.
