They are good cameras that take good pictures in low light situations. Specifically the F20 and F30 exhibit very low noise at high ISOs(3200 and up) allowing you to take good indoor pictures where other cameras would have trouble. The only downside to Duji cameras in my opinion is their continued use of xD memory cards in a world that is mostly using SD.

If you tell us more of what you are looking for I could suggest a few other cameras from other competitors to take a look at also.

Yes Fuji is an excellent brand. The first poster has pretty much covered it all!

Nikon and Canon are also top-notch (those two are by far the best brands in digital SLRs, but in compact cameras they aren't quite as dominant)

Look for camera that use SD card for memory
easy to find and cheap to buy: 1 GB for around $30

Probelm with Fuji camera is like Sony, they want to stick with odd type of memory

I would prefer to buy Canon or Lumix (with Leica lense)
Canon is good overall with various model from low to the very high end
Lumix is equipped with stabilizer and excellent lense

If size is imporant, buy Casio, small thin and cute

I have an older S7000, and it is a beautiful camera. I was so excited when the S9500 (S9000 in the US) came out that I raced out and bought one. The S9500 is horrible. The pictures are just not clear at all. I compared it to a colleague's camera and his is worse.

Because of this, I bought my first Nikon DSLR, the D50, I have since bought a D80 and I couldn't be happier!
