Personally I hate to go but since my therapist here in my state can't legally prescribe meds I have no choice. It has nothing to do with taking meds which make me feel like a zombie..if the dosage and meds are right..it doesn't do that. it's either take meds or be suicidal...personally I hate taking meds but the latter isn't real fun either. My family doctor can prescribe meds and he has but that's not his specialty and he's not familiar with the new drugs and how they work, etc. I don't like doing a lot of things in life but you know...I have to just to survive.

Some people don't want to go, because they don't want to know what's wrong with themselves. To them, ignorance is bliss. Some people seem so strong on the outside, and tell people that there's nothing wrong with them, that it's everybody else and they're just fine. It's these kind of people that can take on the world (the external battle) but not themselves (an internal war). Others don't want to go, because they don't want to expose themselves to a psychiatrist. They don't want to feel vulnerable.
However, many people do like to go. To them, therapy help them get things off their chest. They want to know how to fix themselves. Then again, some people use it as a crutch. They'll take advantage of the help and cease to live without the security blanket of help.

because some people don't mind takeing the drugs they give to make u a zombie.Me personally if i had to see a head doctor i would see a sycologist because they don't prescribe druds but some people need to talk about there problems or it will make them explode.Sometimes if u stuff your problems down n let it build up the outcome can b bad u can end up taking it out on the wrong person or saying things u don't mean n talking to someone who is not on anyones side can help u see a clear picture of things and help u from exploding.

Some people don't want to know the truth about themselves, for fear it means they are not right...when in fact, they are suffering for no reason..and maybe they are afraid of a wrong diagnosis...
