I previously read that only photos with dimensions divisible by 16 can be losslessly rotated. Although ACDsee pro 8.0 has a feature called "Force lossless jpeg operations", I'm not sure if that applies in my case, since the height of the jpg file (1224 pixels) is only divisible by 8, not 16. I absolutely do not want to lose picture quality or any exif data.

Also, how can I find out what is the Minimum Coded Unit (MCU) of the file? And how do I know if ACDsee Pro 8.0 works with this particular MCU?

Thanks in advance.

Bring the picture into ACDsee and convert it to a TIFF or PSD file. Anything that you do to TIFF or PSD files is inherently lossless. Of course, they take a lot more storage space than JPEGs, so you can re-convert it to a JPEG after you are done with all your processing tasks.

You might want to ask your MCU question on an ACDsee forum. I'm not familiar with the term.
