I would marry him, but only if you two are really truly interested in getting married, and not just for a green card.

You could marry him and sponsor him for a Green Card. It should be fast. I guess that is the only way he could stay here.
Since it is summer of next year ( i guess 2006) u might want to start things sooner.
I really dont know if he can stay next summer. It might take more time than 6 months or maybe not I am not sure. In my opinion you should contact an immigration lawyer. They would tell you the details and time required. Also filing the immigration case through them makes chances of success higher. There would be some charges associated (maybe little high also) but you would have peace of mind and you could concenterate on arranging your marriage :)
Or your boyfriend can ask his company that he wants to settle in USA. Many a times companies are considerate and he would be able to switch jobs here.
Best go to the USCIS site for more details as to how to sponsor him for Green Card (permanent residence)

WHAT if we got married??
it appears that you do not recognize that marriage is a commitment to each other.
THOSE THAT LOVE EACH OTHER commit to a life with each other which always includes changes ... Your interest is to seek a fix that will allow you to continue your caring relationship without the need tolerate difficulties or change.
If you really loved him you could go to France, meet his folks, get married and live with him.You can always fly home and visit your folks/friends..
Life is about change and decisions..Marriage always brings changes which each pardner accepts or tolerates due to love...

If you are marrying him because you would have married him anyhow then go for it, if you're just getting married for him to stay, the marriage isn't off to a good start.

Yes you can marry him and file and file to adjust his status (Form I-485 Adjustment of Status to Permanent Resident).
