My own judgment and values - I believe that if you have great love in your life with family and friends you are very successful. Material things come and go and in the end won't matter a whole hell of a lot at all. Its what you did in your life that made someone smile, what your children think of you in your old age and how many lives you have touched. Thats what matters to me.

A well-paying job, a nice downtown apartment, a cute little hatchback, a great crowd of equally driven girlfriends, and total independence from men. Give me these five things and I will be the successful woman I've always wanted to be.

an undemanding definition may well be the hollow between objectives and actually achievements it is why many that're ostensibly 'efficient' although have a feeling of failure because of the fact they know they might have performed extra. This diploma is even though if relatively subjective - some set unrealistic objectives because of severe self-perception - others, fearing failure, consciously settle for much less - satisfied to stay of their 'convenience zone', And it would tend to anticipate particular yardsticks are measures of success - in terms of wealth, academic achievements, glittering prizes, recognition scores, place in society, and so forth.and so forth. an option attitude might centre on (to apply the present jargon) "being satisfied in one's very own dermis" -it is extra to do with popularity and inner contentment, eschewing yardsticks, odious comparisons, envy, conserving up, accepting the random unfairness of existence, and so forth. yet that's additionally relatively subjective - certainly, this is self-deceiving and/or laced with undue self regard - the 'i'm all precise, Jack' attitude. So i think, if we gained't rule out subjectivity, this is impossible to define any absolute or normally happening standards/yardsticks. A humble nun sacrificing herself to stable works among the detrimental might get basically as plenty a feeling of happiness and success as a mogul increasing his fortune, coming up extra for 100taxtyax sales - and particular making super charitable donations to the very orphanage the place the nun works. Who might prefer to diploma or analyze their relative stages of 'success' ?

I have always followed my own judgement hell no one esle pays my bills so I really do not give a crap what others think.

for the most part my own judgement has done a good job but I did screw up once n spent 10 years living in hell. I forgot that using ur own judgement is wonderful but not if its ruled by ur heart n not ur head. always remembering 2 keep ur eyes n ears open ur brain working n ur mouth shut. n knowing the difference between lust n love really really is a good thing.

Great question. My criteria is achieving my personal goals within a given time frame, not a specific age necessarily.
