I went out with a guy at the beginning of the year for 4 months and even though I finished with him, I still can't forget about him. I've seen guys since but I always compare them to him. Thing is, I finished with him because he was very stuck up buy the s*x was fantastic. That can't be what I'm missing as I've had some pretty good loving since! but no matter how good the other guys have bben, it wasn't him. how do you get over it?

I' ve noticed that I only think about him when I've finished with someone. That must mean something.

I did brake it off with him! however, starting to think about it, It's always me that does the braking up. Maybe it's me and I'm just too choosy

Maybe you still want to be with him. Stay busy and do things, and know who you are.

Im a dude but i split with my girlfriend for similar reasons. You followed your head and did the right thing in dumping him so you've just got to do more of the same!
Its possible you may have slept with him since by the sounds of it, so if you are...stop straight away, he'll think he's onto a good thing...if not i apologise for my rudeness.
Love can be like an addiction, with time you can live without it but you never truly forget it...which is a good thing.
Be strong, be happy : )

Time is the only realistic answer to your question. Every person who comes into our life affects it in a different way. This ex apparently touched a deep part of you, and only time will heal the hole he seems to have left. I also suggest taking a break from dating, other men will just be a replacement until you find closure in yourself for this ex. It'll come in time, Good Luck.

Don't be so quick to date other guys. After breaking up, you have to start the healing process, and the only way you can do that is by spending time with YOU.

well you probably still love him, or at least care about him. this has happened to me oh to many times. try and just give it time. after a while you will start to forget about him and when you meet the right guy, your ex will seem like history.
good luck!

Getting over him isn't about the other guys you see, it's about how you feel yourself. If you're just happy by yourself, then you won't need him or anyone else. Then you'll be over him.
