the fish has a single bone in it it's mild and the top part of the bone is like a triangle, it' from the pacific ocean, i used to buy it under the brand name of ocean dawn whitting, it came in a 5 lb. box....thanks for your help

You can usually find whiting in the freezer section. If not ask your market to order you some.

I think Whiting is still plentiful. Try a good fish store, or Kroger, or Some other good grocery store. If you have a jungle jims close by they will have it. We used to sell them by the thousands in the restaurant business, but the demand has dried up.
