I have no clue what that "application data" stuff means.
Could you please tell me what the TITLE of the error message is? Describe things a bit more?
Are you running a current, fully-patched antivirus program? Do you get this when you open all the drives? Do you always get this message with every file you open, or only with certain types of files?
