Oh, gosh you could eat really well! I would recommend a packet of breakfast sausage, a carton of eggs, some milk, and a bag of oranges or a bunch of bananas for breakfast. You could make scrambled eggs, omelets, boiled eggs... Maybe buy a box of cereal in case you don't feel like eating a hearty breakfast one morning.

Buy a loaf of bread, some sliced cheese, and some lunch meat for lunches. You could use some of the lunch meat and cheese for a quick omelet for breakfast as well.

Then for dinners if you have the time buy a small roast and make it up with some potatoes, carrots and onions. You can eat the leftovers plain or make a sandwich out of it. Spaghetti is pretty cheap and you can put meatballs/ground beef/Italian sausage in it. Buy a packet of pork chops and have pork chops with Alfredo noodles. Buy a bagged salad, that should last you a meal or two. If you buy Italian sausages (for the spaghetti) have one or two on a hoagie and put some of the spaghetti sauce over it for an Italian sub.

Try to get things you can mix and match, but that won't taste like you're eating the same meal over and over again. Without knowing what (if anything) you already have on hand, that is the best I can do.

That is actually a lot of money for one person for just a week. Go to the grocery store and see what is on sale. Buy a couple of meat items and then get some ease side dishes to prepare with them. You can have leftovers for a couple of days for what you get. Also - make spaghetti - that is cheap. Put a pound of ground beef in the sauce and you have meat in that also.

- try meat on salads, you eat less expensive amounts and still get veggies.
- try to stay away from deli meat cause it costs way too much
- if you buy a huge bunch of meat on sale, cook it up and use in many different dishes. freeze these in containers, if you can.
- buy a roast on the weekend and cook it up and use this as sandwhich meat or to be put into stew etc.(only store meat in fridge for about two days, like most cooked foods)
- look for bargains on fruit, sometimes bags are not the cheapier way
- write a list of what is needed before shopping to help figure out before hand how much thing may cost
- junk foods cost lots so try to limit these

Sorry, but that person is mean. Saying you're poor doesn't help. I would make simple meals. If you like Chinese, Stir Fry some beef and make your own rice (it's cheap) or crock pot meals from scratch are yummy when it's cold out. Also, buy in bulk. Tyson has bag chicken breasts that are already marinated and they're pretty cheap. You can cut them up and make burritos or whatever.

hot dogs is about the cheapest meat I can think of.
You can also see what's on sale.
Mini-Pizza recipe with hot dogs:
Slice the hot dogs diagonally.
Cut English muffins in half.
Sprinkle some garlic powder on the muffins.
Place the sliced hot dog on the muffin.
Add a slice of cheese.
Add some sliced tomato (or spread tomato paste on the muffin first).
Put your creation in a broiler until the cheese melts.
Enjoy
