It depends on the breed - generally smaller dogs come in around 6 months but some of the large breeds don't have their first head until 9 months or even older.

Anytime from ages of 6 months to 14 months my gsd came in to season the 1st time at 13 months old, then they come into season every 6 months after that unless the have pups and then they will come into season a few weeks after whelping which will be about 4-5 months in order to breed again but this is not wise in a domestic animal, its part of their natural instinct in the wild to keep the breed going and make their own pack bigger.

As early a 4 months, but typically between 5-6 months of age. Best to get her spayed between 5-6 months before the 1st cycle hits.

Most smaller breeds go into heat their first time around 6 months but it depends on the dog cause I breed Min Pins and one of my females didnt go into her first heat untill she was a year old so it really depends on the dog really,, but to answer your question any where from 6 months to a year old

It varies. My German Shepherd dog came into her first heat at six mos. old which is not uncommon. Some can come into heat much later. My Vet recommends that spaying should occur after six mos. of age. So I had to wait for her first heat to pass.

Before anyone says anything NO I am not getting her done, he's on the dreaded list to be done! Someone pass me a couple of bricks ha ha.
