I love him. He shows and verbalizes his love, but I'm still scared.
I am not a jealous, insecure or posessive person. But a part of me thinks so highly of him that I think I'm not adequate. I know this isn't true. Do you feel scared in love? Is this normal?

you shouldnt be scared... you think highly of him how do you know that he doesnt think highly of you? dont be scared he probably thinks youre the most awesome person in the world

You shouldn't feel scared in Love you should feel nothing but happiness, security, trust, loyalty and safe. Your letting your insecurities interfere and you should try to find a way to deal with them. They can turn the greatest things in life into something we won't like if we let them take over.

I think ur afraid of something going wrong in love and having your heart broken and it is normal. Just go for love and things will work out the way they should.

what a terrible feeling, I feel the same way. I have been hurt before so now I protect myself. I am really trying to not let my past affect my future. Especially when this person could be the one.
