Just be honest and say something like "sorry if I come across as a little shy" when you're talking to them. If they're truly intelligent, they'll understand. Everyone gets shy sometimes. Don't let it worry you :)

you need to make up your mind in just what you want on life, if you do keep being shy you will be pushing them away. and they will move onto someone else. so set back and make a list of do's and don't and study them on what you would say to them. just go around and say hi to the boy name johnny. or other boys until you feel good then get into talking with them. baby you will be ok...try it

until your synapses warm up just relax ..soon he will run out of witty inteligent things to say
anything you say at this point will be more witty and inteligent

Look at him , pensivley , flash him the windows to your soul .
