Yes, I agree. There are a lot of haters out there who just aren't getting the message. As if reading the scriptures and receiving the word could hurt them somehow. They are believing the lies of the devil. And it doesn't help us any that some people call themselves Christians and are not even trying to live according to the teachings of Jesus. It is important for us to know the holy spirit, who can help us discern falseness in organized religion, as well as in individuals. Also, it is up to us to educate ourselves about religion enough to be well rounded, and to seek a personal relationship with God. We all walk around with prejudices, as human beings, but Jesus would have us be kind to one another, and show love. Not a bad philosophy.

The bible describes Satan as 'the Prince of the air'. Such is the power of Satan to influence others. And he is subtle, as the bible says 'the serpent is subtle'. He has fooled many, and they don't know it. They refuse to open their eyes, and they follow many of Satan's edicts, one to hate Christians.
Also, they seem to have more respect for a religion which plainly commands its believers to kill others who aren't of their religion. But this is another manifestation of Satans influence.

There is a historical connection between Judaism and Islam, yes. But they have little in common. And the gospels have next to nothing in common with the koran. Therefore, true Christians have next to nothing in common with true Muslims.
Be well.

i agree. for example one of the only differences between christianity and Judaisim is that Christians believe Jesus was the messiah and the religion of Judaism believes Jesus was just a prophet and the messiah is yet to come ( i'm sorry if i may have wrote something wrong, i may have some facts mixed up; this is what i learned in school)

Good advice. Also, there are some that claim to be christians, that really give christians a bad name. When people lump big groups together, it says more about the person doing the lumping.

a lot of us dislike (not hate) Christianity as an institution (and we do kknow of it - and its bodycount across history. do you?), and specific Christians who are particularly obnoxious and intolerant.
most of us know a lot about Christianity - more than some Christians, it seems, yet some Christians always try to spin their argument that we don't know anything. We've heard the sales pitch; we just don't buy it.
If you want repesct, you have to respect others. But there are still a lot of Christians who by word and deed undermine your collective reputations.

There are a lot of Christians who make a pest of themselves.....talking down about other religions, insulting others, trying to belittle those who don't believe the same as they do. They try to "force-feed" their beliefs to others. They give "normal" Christians a bad name, and make us all "targets".

It's not the religion people have a problem with; it's the attitude of some of its followers.

Why are so many people against Christians?
Because Christians are against them! And have been historically 'hating' on everyone else since the inception of the religion.
Have you ever heard of a little thing called "THE CRUSADES"
I think it is a simple case of what comes around goes around, or in terms that a christian can understand... "you reap what you sow"
More people have been killed, tortured, etc in the name of the Christian god than ANY other cause IN ALL OF HISTORY!

It should be a Christian's choice to wear a hat or not.
