You've hit on the main "control" mechanism in christianity.
The basic premise of the religion is that human beings are dirty, nasty, evil, disgusting beasts who are in need of being "saved" through divine intervention, since they're too evil and disgusting to be able to redeem themselves. The constant reinforcement of the idea that you're bad, evil, a "sinner," keeps self-esteem low, and constantly reinforces the need for someone or something to "save you" from yourself. It's that continual negative reinforcement that keeps people in their churches -- they are spoon-fed the fear that if they don't keep worshipping jesus they will suffer the hell prepared for those that never overcome their evil, disgusting nature.
How sad -- human beings are a true wonder. How great that we've evolved to the point where we can contemplate our own existence. How wonderful that we can sometimes overcome our animal nature to produce great art, wonderful music, care for each other selflessly, and get along in this huge, diverse world. We are complicated, marvellous creatures that have such great potential -- I find it apalling that so many religions call this fantastic product of evolution an evil being that needs supernatural forces to save it from itself.

The sin we are born in is no fault of our own, it causes us to be under the death penalty.
As being born in sin anything can happen to us at any time, our life is short, temporary and full of troubles to death. John 8:44 Satan caused the death of ever offspring of Adam.
Jesus has the right to destroy Satan the devil Heb.2:9,14,15;
Jesus has the right to destroy death 1Cor.15:22-28; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Jesus gave his life and his word on it Heb.9:1-16;
Jesus has the right to make all as perfect as before Eden 2Pet.3:13;
Jesus has the right to SAVE the world [ Adam's offsprings ]; John 3:16;
Jesus has the right to judge the world Heb.9:27; It is appointed unto man once to die and after this, the judgement. John 5:22,26-29; Acts 17:31; 24:15; Rom.14:9-12; Philip.2:5,9-12; Matt.12:36; 2Cor.5:10; Dan.12:2; Isa.26:19; Psm.104:29,30;

Everyone is a sinner, no one is perfect. No matter if the sin is big or small we all need forgiveness. Jesus died for the sins of everyone in the world. You, me, and everyone else. The whole concept is far more complex than a single simplified question.

1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Everyone sins. this comes down from the original sin of Adam and Eve when they both ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. You can';t escape that fact.
But Jesus died on the cross for our sins, so we can go to Him and repent of them daily for His forgiveness, because our flesh is weak even though our spirit might be willing to try not to sin.
Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak
If God had not sacrificed His one and only son Jesus to die for our sins to be washed away by His blood, then we would all have to still sacrifice lambs to this day to pay for our families sins once a year, to have them forgiven by God.
God gave us all the easy way out and you still refuse that free gift of salvation from Him.

Jesus is God in the flesh. God knew that we, as humans having free will, are not good 'at the core'. For God to 'weed out' who He wants in His kingdom or not He came to earth as Jesus, being born as the Son of a virgin for those who believe in Him shall be forgiven and have everlasting life.
Forgiven of what? Falling to temptation like Adam and Eve did.
The bad, mean-spirited, fast judging people - - like those who had Jesus crucified because He healed and was kind. We know from the Bible that the courts found nothing wrong with Him and when given the chance to free Him the people had Him killed. This is referred today as 'group think'.
We're all bad in some way at sometime.
No one is perfect except Him. Through God's grace by sending Him we are all forgiven and saved.
It's up to us daily where we end up; not God.

We don't need constant saving. It started in the Garden of Eden when Eve ate the Forbidden Fruit. Since then we have all been born with sin inside of us, in order to go to Heaven we must be cleansed of the sin, so that's what Jesus died for. We just need to ask for forgiveness.

Honestly, quit being ignorant and hate filled. I know you're upset about most Christians being judgmental and intolerant to others, so why would you follow suite with that?
Everyone in this world is evil and all need to be saved that is the point. By the way; you can only be saved once, you're not "constantly saved". And there is nothing you can do to rid yourself of his salvation.
Visit www.bibletruths.com, read the material, and then post what you think about it, i'd like to here what you have to say about some of the things on there, and maybe it will answer questions I know you have.

Jesus said if you have done so little as to call a person a fool, then you are in danger of hell and in need of salvation. Jesus had to be a sacrifice for our sins in order for there to be good enough sacrifice for all people all time.

Jesus does not GIVE out forgiveness, unless YOU ask for it. And once you are saved, sincerely, there is no losing it! Sin weighs heavy on a believer, like a two ton truck. No amount of heaviness is going to affect the spiritually dead. Evidently, the heaviness of guilt hasn't affected YOU yet!

John 19:30. Jesus gave up his life, "gave up His spirit". Romans 8:23 "for all have sinned".
