Built on a decade of prevention work at SDSU, C-CAPP was funded by the U.S. Department of Education in 1997. Originally, C-CAPP focused on SDSU students. One of the first tasks of C-CAPP was to build relationships among several diverse stakeholders in the community and on campus.
