As of last night, my cat's left eye does not open fully and is watery. I tried to look closer and to wipe off any discharge (there wasn't much in fact) with a damp cloth. She kept it so tightly closed but the right eye fully opened. I could not see inside clearly and I didn't really wipe off anything. Now that after several attempts, she is no longer at ease when I tried to sit her down and pet her. When my attention is away from her, she also kinda groans in the same tone as when she was in heat. I'm so worried but don't know what to do.

She might have gotten something in it and scratched it. It should heal on its own. If you are worried that there might still be something in it get some saline solution from the contacts section of the grocery (NOT the all-in-one solution, JUST saline) and have someone hold her in a towel while you open her eye and spray some into it. Clean it off with a clean towel and let her loose...she'll be pissed at you for a while, but that is all you can do for now. Give it a few days and if it doesn't clear take her to the vet.

Oh, and if her nose is running or she is sneezing and coughing she may have a cold. Kitty colds usually take a week or two to go away.

You need to take her to the vet. Sorry to say it, because it may be hard to find a clinic still open at this time of day. Many towns have emergency vets available so you should look one up asap! She is very uncomfortable, and needs vet attention, it is very common for animals to scratch thier eyes, so that is one possibility, but a vet needs to check this. Whatever she has is probably something that you cannot see yourself with your bare eyes. Just take her in, and they will help her, whether it is a scratch to the cornea, or infection, or maybe something else. Best of luck to you, but make sure you take her in!

The first time my kittens eyes watered I took him to the vet.
My cat had a cold. Watery eyes is due to a small flu, hair or object stuck in his eye.
If it continues more than a day I would go to the vet to have your cat looked at.

Hard to say without seeing your cat. It sound as if it was painful or at least bothering.
Try wiping the eye carefully with a dripping wet soft cloth soaked in lime or linden tea.
(no sugar added, please!).
If it doesn’t change soon, see your vet.

Take her to the vet.

My cat, Junior, had the same problem a few weeks ago and he had a scratched cornea. He had a salve for a week, then followed by drops; Junior is fine now.
