I just wrote a whole page and then I accidentally deleted it... so I'm just going to lay this out there:
Get Firefox.
It's just a program, like any other program you download. If you don't want it you can uninstall it. Firefox will ask you if you want it to be your default browser -- if you don't want that just yet, tell it "no". You can have both Firefox and IE on your computer at the same time. They won't fight each other, or anything like that.
Firefox is faster, more secure, more user-friendly, and has better support. It consistently tests as a superior browser to IE.

There's all kinds of cool stuff you can do with Firefox, like adding "extensions". I have an extension where when I'm on Youtube and watching a video, I can click a button that lets me download the video to my hard drive -- how cool is that?
If you're having trouble with using Firefox, there's message boards, FAQs, guides, and even a live IRC chat.
I'm pretty sure Firefox transfers your favorites from IE.

Fire fox is a Internet browser like explorer. It's free and yes it allows you to transfer all of your favorites. It tends to be better at blocking pop ups and it doesn't crash nearly as much.

Firefox is a totally different browser from IE. You can have both of them at the same time. Firefox in general (if configured properly) is a safer way to surf the Internet.

Firefox is just another browser. Its much nicer to use than Internet Explorer. You do not need any other browser installed to use it.

Firefox is a web browser that is free and much better than IE. There is a corresponding mail program called Thunderbird. Go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ to download them.

It's the best browser around and it has nothing to do with IE. When you install it you'll get all of your IE favorites. Give it a try.
Get it here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
