Other religions? If your God is the one true God then how can other religions claim to have miracles? And why does your God..either Allah or the God of Abraham allow miracles to occur for people of other faiths? Wouldn't that just encourage them to keep believing what they believe even though it might mean burning in hell for eternity?

When Moses threw down his staff in front of the Pharaoh it turned into a snake. The Pharaoh's magicians were able to do the same thing. The difference is that Moses snake ate up all the other snakes.
Miracles or what some call magic is real. Power is real. Power comes from God. God's angels have great power. God's people also have power if they are willing to receive it. Wiccans and spiritualist have power. Demons have power.
It is not all 'smoke and mirrors' although there is smoke and mirrors.
There are some who can discern the difference.
There are some who miss use power.
All power comes from God.
The "gifts of God are without repentance."
Therefore the devils power and the powers of the dark side are real.
Power can be used for good or evil.
God's power is still greater than all other as I demonstrated in the example of Moses and the temple magicians.

There are no such things as miracles. There are only greater and lesser known natural laws. Everything that occurs in this world is governed by a natural law.

When a person develops cancer for example it is not that cancer has been intorduced by cigarettes or what not. We are all born with cells that can become cancer. It is only when they mutate that they do in fact become cancer. What causes this mutation we do not know. But there must be a natural law behind it. Equally when cancer cells spontaniously vanish we do not understand this either. When this happens the religious call it a miracle and say see what God did! Crap it is just a natural law in effect that we are currently to stupid to understand!

There are no miracles!
No flying pink elephants granting wishes either!
GROW UP!

Buddhist's don't have a god, first of all. As for miracles, I believe that the will to live can cause miraculous recoveries, just not 100% of the time...

Odd you threw buddhist in there but buddhist believe that there's wisdom and truth and everything, it's the others that state that they're the only right ones so buddhist don't have to defend themselves everytime someone else is right about something it's all valid. Miracles are usually unexplainable otherwise they wouldn't be miracles.

There is No ONE TRUE God in Buddhism. "Miracles" occur to those who has reaped the fruits of karma in their past to deserve it. Buddhism does not believe that any sort of Supreme Being "allows" things to happen, only our own actions dictate what will happen to us.

Slap someone in the face and expect to be slapped in return.

Buddhism believes that all things including Heaven and Hell are impermanent... and therefore not eternal

miracles can occur by anyone, obviously by only one God's will. now y...?
because all humans are his creation,he loves them..and he wants them to come to straight path, to come to him...so he shows his presence, thru these miracles...
and one aspect i believe in....Allah checks human being by giving as well as by taking....
he wants us to show our gratitude on having something.
n patience n tolerance when we lose something
religion is our belief, but we all are creation of only one God ...miracle is linked with God, not religion we follow
hope this helps :)
may Allah guide whole humanity on right path(ameen)

simply because god is the most erciful , god tells us in the Quran in its Tafsir (interpertation) in surah 17:verse 20:

(Each do We supply) provision, (both these) the obedient people (and those) and the disobedient people, (from the bounty of thy Lord) from the provision of your Lord. (And the bounty of thy Lord) and the provision of your Lord (can never be walled up) withheld from either the obedient or sinful person.

and no it isnot encourges them to, one should love god for this genorousity and mercy and seek the true path that leads to him and seek the truth, he is god who created us have mercy on us :
the next verse says(also in its interpertation:17:21

(See) O Muhammad (how We prefer one above another) in this worldly life by means of wealth and servants, (and verily the Hereafter) in the Hereafter (will be greater in degrees) greater merits for the believers (and greater in preferment) for the believers who will have more rewards and higher degrees.

so .....?!!
peace.
