We just got a fully black cat. What are some good names? Please make them so they could fit a boy or a girl. Thanks!

I don't know what breed it is. We're taking it to the vet today, but it's VERY small.

Well I had some black cats and here are some names I thought about.
1: Midnight
2: Blacky
3: Reaper (as in the grim reaper)
4: Felix
5: Hurley
6: Volcom
Thats all I can say for cats. I am better with dogs though. Sorry for that but those are ones that I thought were cute.

My mother had a black cat growing up and it was named Spooky. I think that is a perfect name for a black cat and considering that my Mom was born on a Friday the 13th it all really fit well together.

I have a fluffy black cat. His name is Stash. I have a "not fluffy" black cat named Obi.
Stay away from things like midnight, shadow, blacky...etc. Those names are so cliche!
If you must stick with the more obvious names consider Twilight.

The first black cat we ever got was named Bageria. It was posined and killed by our neighbor. It was sad because that was the only black cat we had ever had. Then i stray cat got pregenant by one of my cats and had kittens. One of the kittens just happened to be fully black so we named it bageria again.The name is from the black panther in the Jungle Book

You could try midnight or you could try calling one of them My mysterious or Spooky or Blackey or Mystery. Try thinking of names that are surrounded around Halloween. There are - i am sure you could think of a lot of names surrounding around Halloween. Another name that would be good is, Star or even Lexie's. I also like the name Lexie, because it comes from Alexandra.

Our black female cat is named Harmony. Before my daughter settled on that, her names were Blueberry and then Blackberry.
The neighbor kid named his black boy cat Pumpkin.
