Have faith, Stone. As indicated by the previous responses, the first indication of an addiciton is denial of the addiction. Obviously, Evolution is something most people have been force-fed for so long, they can't imagine it not being available.

I've always had mixed views on this kind of question, about Darwinian evolution. Even bigwig scientists a few years back made fun of Darwinian theories of random selection, survival of the fittest, and mutation, saying that these as the basis of Darwin's "theory" are all too general and the same could be said about sunlight flitering through the sky or coffee cooling down or a baby eating fruit loops. They went on to say that genetics has a greater heritage of evolutionary information, which skews originally thought views of evolutionary history. For example, a fruitfly has more evolutionary history in in genes that we humans do, because it as a species has been around a lot longer. In fact, many thousands of species really top humans as possessing greater linkages of genetic traits in their past than human beings. So, which one is more advanced? The one which has been around longer? Or, the species that can kill the others? That has to be re-evaluated, if you agree with the latter. Then, on the grounds of creation, the divine being as the creator really is based on religious symbols taken literally or written religious language taken figuratively -- either way, the two (genetic trait history and how religious texts are interpreted) have no relation to each other! They appear, as the "Yoga Vasishta" states, "they have no relation to each other and no conflict" -- meaning that you can believe either or both at the same time, but their combined meaning is based upon the interpreter's own perceptions, choices, or their apparent mutuality or connection is actually a coincidence, which when delved into reveals that there is no real connection. So, I think the collapse of a theory of evolution cannot demonstrate the truth of creation in honest reasonable terms.

Now you're REALLY in fiction land buddy. I don't ever remember the theory of Evolution collapsing. As a matter of fact i continue to see discoveries every month that only strengthen it.

I guess in that case the answer to the question is this. The collapse of evolution is fictional, and since you believe that and you also believe creation, that could very well make creation fictional as well.

For your question to make sense the theory of evolution would have to COLLAPSE which it has NOT, regardless of what many religious zealots would like to think.

HOWEVER, EVEN IF it were to collapse, it would still NOT prove anything about creation...

It is a ridiculous notion to think that one thing being wrong could automatically make something else right... PERIOD!

That is like saying my cat is NOT a dog so it must be a fish...

Evolution must have been really huge back when Darwin proposed it, because apparently it has been in a constant state of collapse ever since. So, um, any hints on when the collapse will actually be noticeable?

AFAIK, there is no globally, scientifically accepted "collapse" in the theory of evolution. Even if there was, it certainly wouldn't demonstrate "the truth of creation". Failure to prove that evolution exists doesn't mean it does not exist, in the same way failure to prove god exists doesn't mean he does not exist. It would simply serve to underline the fact that we do not know all the answers.

I wasn't aware that there was a collapse of the theory of evolution. Where did you hear about it? Surely such a thing would have been on Yahoo! News. That wouldn't necessarily mean "creation" is correct anyway Is that the only other possible course? No.

Because in the world of modernism, evolution combined with big bang is the only possible explanation for our existence. Atheists are forced down the road of chance and nature. They believe there was a beginning, but no known cause or design.

If the theory of evolution has collapsed, then the THEORY of creation has been totaly obliterated.

Now we have to start all over again.
