The sticker should be on your PC. This is the license for XP. With out that number you cannot activate it.

purely bypass by the activation, choose "turn on by telephone" and phone Microsoft. they're going to ask you for a chain of numbers that the activation window will provide then they provide you with a chain of numbers to enter into the packing boxes provided. After that your abode windows will be activated.

Ouch, that sucks. You really need that key for activation. But if you isntalled windows yourself then you should be able to activate windows without it asking you for the key. Unless its a fake key.
