Do girls usually get hurt more? Or do guys feel the same way?

As with top question - it hurts soooo much! Like you feel so empty - dunno what guys feel though!

Historically men have been taught to cover there feelings with bravado so it is not as easy to distinquish whether they are hurting or not because they are just playing a mean game of football or something.
Women on the other hand have been given societies blessing to wear there heart on there sleeve, so it is pretty obvious that they are hurting deeply.
However, they both hurt deeply to the same level depending on the protective emotional wall that they have placed around there heart.

Here's how I see it, I've been in a few relationship, some have ended by my choice and some of them not, but I realized that even when we guys are down, we try to play it off like we're not. It seems to make things alot easier, but in the same token can destroy the chances of making up.

I think we can both feel the hurt deeply. I have had my heart broken and I have some male friends who have had it too. They held my hand when I needed them and I held theirs. The tears were just as real for each of us. And the comfort of close friends was just as healing.

when my bf and i broke up, it killed me on the inside i love him so much, and i thought i wouldn't be able to get over it, he seemed fine, which hurt more, i thought we weren't ever gettin back together again!!, but a few days later we did! and we've been together for almost 2 yrs! but i honestly believe it hurts females more than guys. plus there suppose to be "macho" and females are "more sensitive" but its hard to tell what a guy is feeling...?

It depends on who breaks up with who.
When my ex boyfriend of 7 months broke up with me, I was hurt very badly. I cried. for days.
When I broke up with my other ex of 2 months he was hurt a whooooooooole bunch. he always texted me saying ily, ily. yaddy yaddi yaddaaah..
it just depends how much they/you care about the relationship.

girls hurt more. we're way more emotional than men. though i think if they let their hearts get involved then they have some pretty bad breakups too.

well i think they could be both the same
but women are more likely to be heartbroken longer
