Be responsible and don't go - you're still contagious for 24 hours after you first begin taking antibiotics. It would be extremely unfair of you to go and infect other people.
And no, it's not strepth throat. It's strep throat - strep is an abbreviation for the organism that's causing the infection, streptococcus.

Soar Throats are mainly (BUT NOT all) cause by bacterial infection to the throat or Upper Respiratory System. The reason why it is called strep throat somtimes is due to its bacterial name- Streptoccocus bacteria- which are of different types. Yes it can be transmitted so please prevent from kissing others on the lips (especially torrid kissing, french kiss, lips to lips, etc.) it can also be transmitted when you cough so please cover your mouth. If symptoms persist, you should consult a doctor, most of the time they will prescribe an antibiotic (e.g. peniccilin or if you are allergic to that they might prescribe erythromycin) which is good for 7 days. Rest, lots of fresh fruits juices, sleep and veggies will help you recover. Consult your doctor to be sure if that is really strep. It just might be an allergy to cold weather or your body is adjusting to changes in temperature. You should also take note if you are feverish, tired, experiencing muscle aches and pains, etc. There could be a lot of reasons- consult a physician.

More than one needs to learn to spell. It's "strept" throat. You are contagious for 24 hours. As a consideration of others I'd say stay home.

Uh to that other girl, you need to learn to spell too! It's Strep throat as in Streptococcus. And yeah, you are still contagious. But I think if you stick to yourself at the party and don't share drinks with anyone, then you should be fine.

You can go, just be careful not to kiss anyone, or eat off anyone else's plate or glass. Do not share utensils! and don't talk to much close to someone else. Chances are, though that many people will be coming down with strep soon anyway. at least the ones you are in contact with regularly, It seems to be very prevalent right now, at least where I live.

I think you mean strep throat. I have had it before and yes it is contagious. You could still go, but don't get too close to anyone to prevent them from catching it too.

Stay home, get a Dictionary and study for school on Monday. Give your friend a card instead of a disease.

Isolate your self and kill that virus, call your friend they will understand. Colds are one thing we don't need to share.
