Advent is a period of preparation for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, both his first coming at his birth in Bethlehem and his second coming in glory at the end of time.

Advent is a time of joyous anticipation, but also of penance and preparation for the great Christmas feast.

With love in Christ.

Repentance relates to Salvation... no repentance, no Salvation... Salvation is through Jesus The Christ who's birth we celibrate as Christmas... as Avent leads up to Christmas then I guess there is a relationship of sorts... interesting question... hope you get a couple serious replies... I'd like to see other opinions
