Well, yes, but it seems people take questions and answers that are anti-evolution as an affront. Just look at the ratings for you question and you'll see what I mean. Also the replies that creationists question get are occasionally abusive.
I've asked a number of questions about evolution, as I am currently researching it. I've read articles and books on the subject and it seems to me that evolutionists tend to miss the point. They tend to believe in evolution partly because they don't believe in God, but they haven't properly looked for the answer that makes sense, the question being something like one of these:
"why would God create life and allow suffering?"
"Who created God?"
Some evolutionists do not ask questions but make statements and do not expect a reasoned, logical answer. These points tend to come directly or indirectly from these questions.
If someoen believes in evolution, but is prepared to accept a logical answer that includes the existence of God (They would have to be open minded, ofcourse) the they might come around to believing in God.
In my research, I have come across no argument that is used to support evolution that cannot be countered in some way. Many will say the same about creation, which is fair enough, but that would surely put belief in evolution and belief in creation on an even footing.
At the moment, it is a matter of faith as to which you believe in. Some day, perhaps very soon, it will become obvious which is true. If we believe in creation and it turns out to be false, then there is no harm done to anything except our pride. If we believe in evolution and it is false, but creation is true, then we will lose our lives over it. it seems from this point of view that creation is the safer bet.
If creation is true, but we believe in evolution, we will be missing out on the most wonderful thing we can have - a relationship with the Creator, and that opens up many doors - to joy, hope, life, etc.

No, but it does involve a level of complexity that someone who hasn't studied it may think it doesn't make sense. However, when you truly read up on it and don't just trust what other people have said in criticism of it, it can all fall into place and you realize how simple evolution is, yet how obviously it is there and does work. It's just that it works in such slow motion (compared to our incredibly brief lives) that it's difficult to detect - from our point of view. That doesn't change the fact though that there is tons and tons and tons of evidence for evolution in the fossil record and all around us. Try reading some books by Stephen Jay Gould and you may find your opinion changes - if you have an open mind, that is. Best of luck with your self education.

Actually, no I don't. See, it makes perfect sense that the animal most suited for its environment would live longer than one who wouldn't.
For example, you have two birds. One can fly faster than the other by some "random" (calling it random because it's too hard for me to explain random genetic mutations) trait it inherited. So, when a hawk chases both birds, the faster one lives. The slower one gets caught, and eaten, therefore, it can no longer reproduce. The faster one does live, reproduces, and has, say 10 chicks. Those chicks are faster, and the fastest one of those 10 chicks reproduces more...
It goes on and on. The thing is, there is so much stuff out there to prove it, and no one said God or another Supreme Being has no play in the beginning. In my opinion, God started it all, but things have evolved since. (Things still evolve today, we as humans do too.)
Personally, I think evolution is one of the greatest scientific theories out there. Take a peek at the site I listed, it was my favorite when I wrote a term paper on Darwinian evolution.

Evolution is a scientific theory that explain the facts. Facts are observations by men (note plural) independent of location. There is no stupidity with theories.
Revelation on the other hand deals with revealed knowledge. Reveal knowledge is believed or not. For Christians, revealed knowledge come from prophets, prophets who speak God's word. Again you can believe them or not. One revealed information is that God existed before he created all that man can observe. There is no scientific theory here because there are no facts about God. God exists outside (beyond) our ability to observe him.
If you want to find God, listen to his prophets. If you want to try to understand the observable world that God created, use the scientific method. The word of God never changes, but scientific theories may change when new facts are introduced.
What don’t you understand about "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." Matt 22:2, Mark 12:17, Luke 20:25? It is in three out of the four Gospels. Maybe you think that is stupid too.

Yes, there are many other uneducated people who hold views similar to yours. It's easy to criticize something you know nothing about, isn't it? Which is why such people so carefully avoid learning any real facts about the subject. If they learned the facts, and recognized that they are true, then they might have to admit (God forbid!) that their personal interpretations of the Bible are not infallible after all! This of course would have no effect on your belief in God, since the vast majority of those who recognize the facts of biological evolution are also believers in God and in Creation.
Well, just in case you would like to learn some of the facts, so you have some idea what you are talking about, here's an excellent site that explains some of the scientific facts in fairly simple layman's terms ...

yes -- you and pat robertson and james dobson, too
look at what selective breeding has done with dogs -- all domestic dogs, pretty much, have a common ancestor, but now you've got chihuahuas, sharpeis, great danes...obviously, if mating favors population members tending to display a certain trait, the trait will be amplified over the course of subsequent generations and, eventually, you'll end up with descendants that scarcely even resemble the progenitors
dogs have only been domesticated since, i dunno, caveman times? let's say 2000 yrs? but life has been on earth for billions of years. add to that the obvious evidence of natural selection...does evolution really seem so stupid? i mean it certainly seems less far-fetched than like genesis, you know?

I guess a lot of folks think it is... I know a lot of myh Christian brothers and sisters think so... me, I see what God has provided and the evidence of His creation and the chalenges He has given us to stimulate our development... and I have to say that there is ample enough evidence of some form of evolution... at least enough to say the the Theory of Evolution is a valid tool for scientific enquirey... It can never be proven, of course, by any scientific process... And I know for sure that evolution dose not apply to mankind... but the "theory" can not be dismissed as it applies to scientific inquirey...

No. I have read Darwin's book, and lots of other books that go through it. Our understanding of what is involved in Evolution grows every day.
What is stupid are the people who spout out "It's only a Theory", when they don't understand what, in Science, a Theory is. They confuse the concept of a Hypothesis with the a Theory. Only those who haven't read the dictionary and shout "It's only a Theory!".
