The question is: Would you prefer to live in a country which has banned abortion completely but has very high abortion rates (for example: many South American countries) rather than live in a country in which abortion is completely legal but has very, very few women seeking abortions each year (for example, Belgium & Netherlands)?

That's the thing: in REALITY there is no country which bans abortions and has NO abortions being performed.

nobody really *digs* abortion so the country with the lower abortion rate is probably the happier one (all other factors being the same).

im a guy, and it really isnt any of my business either way. I dont like hypocrites, and i dont like overpopulation problems. As long as the crime rate stays low i dont care if its because of abortions or cause the economy is good and the people are educated therefore making abortions mostly unnecessary.

I prefer to live in a United States of America where people put more value on human life. 3 million innocent babies killed in one year should not be acceptable to anyone. Apparently people need to be better educated here so there wouldn't be so many unwanted pregnancies.

That's a no-brainer. Its far better for women to be in hospitals where they won't die of infection but I wish no abortion was the option out of the two.

Well, I'll choose human life over law any day...but that doesn't mean that abortion laws aren't needed in some places, it just means that the laws they have aren't being enforced.
