I would like to point out that as a Semitic language first of all it is very difficult to translate Arabic directly into English. just as there is no such thing as an exact translation of the bible into English there is not an exact translation of quran in English.
one of the things that i have noticed christians like to do, which from a spiritual standpoint is very dangerous is attack the faith of others and engage in spiritual arrogance. God by any name it is called, Allah, Jehovah, YHVH, etc. is the grand and only judge who is faster to mercy than to wrath.
just as in the christian bible homosexuality is considered unclean, not a sin the case is similar according to quran. but also wearing silk with Cotton is unclean, and eating milk with meat. if you have ever had a cheeseburger you have violated a Torah commandment in the same category as homosexuality, and in all "religions of the book," adultery is worse than being gay yet i have met many adulterers who hate gays from a "religious" prospective. i cannot understand their spiritual foundation but it is not for me to judge.
many may argue differently but i advise learning the original languages and looking into the matter from the source. i have seen nothing but quoting commentary or baseless opinion otherwise.

The severest punishment for homo. is in that Religion.Very harsh punishment for both. Also for child marriage. The quoted Verses relate to the Heaven's life. Does not at all refer to homo. according to Exegetes' unanimous verdict. This act is repulsive, dirty, unhygienic. Even animals donot do it. Referring to Genes is exploiting the science.
