Most Canadian cities have Bylaws that prohibit noise above certain decibels between the hours of 11 at night and seven in the morning. If this happens again call the police, I've had friends who have been served with pretty hefty fines for noise violations and it has definitely put the kibosh on them being that loud again. Good luck!

Should have. Most cities have a noise ordinance. In my town it's between 10 PM and 6 AM. I would call the police (business line, not 911) and ask if you have one and what the times are.

Different cities have different regulations as far as noise complaints go. My guess is that if someone was driving a ATV in you apt. yard you definitely could have called police. If you are in a fairly urban area the police would definitely come out.

You most likely have a town or city noise ordinance. Call your police and find out, if not, call your counsel person and get them on the ball to establish one.

Yes, but don't try doing it now. When an offense occurs, call the police right away. Unless you know exactly who was doing it, the police now have no chance of catching him.
