lol..... i use to kool aid my hair when i was in high school. i could tell you how to do it but then im also going to sugust omething to you for a more natural color.
kool aid- buy a small pack with no sugar pick a color you like, i used the fruit punch or cherry. the pour it into a pot with about 3 cups water and bring to a simmer... let it cool a little untill you can dip your head into it and not get burned. then keep all your hair into he water/koolaid for 20-25 minuents. what happens is your hair is like a straw it sucks up the color. this is a stain for your hair, its cute if your young and funkey but you should know that it takes a long time to come out of the hair and you will have to do it about once a month to keep the color vibrant.
now i personaly think you should try a henna hair coloring. i think you can buy it at a drug store. they come in natural colors but mostly reds and browns, i wouldent use a red though unles you want to be a carrot top. also their is a box die i think they dont use chemicals its called "natural instints" hope this helps you sweetie.

No offense, I took Cosmetology courses for two years a total of a 1000 hours and I don't recommend dying your hair with Kool-Aid. Especially if you want to dye it black.......what type of mix would use anyway......purple? and what color is your hair now? The question is not would it pick up Im asking myself, but rather will it stain your hair and if it would possibly turn green?? I wouldn't recommend this at all. Instead go with a semi-permanent hair dye with mild chemicals. Such as Herbal Essence or go to a beauty shop and buy a wash out......that only last between 1 and 3 days (depending on when you wash your hair). *When washing your hair wash it in the sink or something so it doesn't touch your skin and don't dye it as soon as you wash your hair instead don't wash it for like 2 days than do it so your scalp (pores) aren't open to soak the dye in. If that makes sense? Well good luck and hope you find some type of non permanent hair color that wont have you breaking out or causing some type of rash. =)

No, by all means don't use Kool aid unless you want to look like a troll! Go to a professional. Maybe they can use foil, and make sure the chemicals don't touch your scalp. Also what is wrong with your natural hair color?

going black can be a bad choice how are you going to get it out when you don't want blck anymore, that is something that needs to be done professionally, have you checked into to any other options, I dyed my hair black with real hair dye and it cost me 300 dollars to get it back to my natural color because it has to be done gradually since it's such a dark color
