YEP. 2 reasons at least:

1. You are exercising for a longer period of time
2. Your body begins to burn fat after about 30 minutes. Full intensity at 30 minutes your body will just burn glycogen and your muscles will ache. Plus you are less prone to injury.

I think that if you jog then run and jog again and back to a run and so forth.

If you do this for 40 minutes. Your body will not get used to just one
training and you will be in bettet shape.

Just mix it up.
