What qualities and characteristics etc. MUST a girl/guy have in order for them to be 'THE ONE' for you? (Are you looking for someone who shares the same religious beliefs, a certain physical appearance, etc.?)
-Would you be willing to compromise on a few of these, or do you feel you ABSOLUTELY must have these?
-Do you feel you'll forever be single if you don't find someone like this?
(FYI, I'm sure everyone is 'picky' to a certain extent, but some more than others...)

I'm very picky, only because i think i deserve the best.
It's not so much about characteristics w/ me though.
its all about the feeling you get when you first see someone.
I call it the "IT" factor. "IT" being whatever it was that made me stop in my tracks and say to myself "Damn. who is that" I go from there to find out the rest.
But if the initial attraction is not there. there is no hope of a relationship w/ me. No matter how attractive she may be.

Well, I'm extremely picky with my guys, which is probably why I've yet to have a boyfriend (that or it's because I'm litteral the top of my class, taller than many guys, pretty, confident, and I'm just smart).
My list:
*he must be a Christian (not Catholic).
*he must look okay (I don't want to be embarrased of him).
*proferably Asian.
*musically talented or likes good music (classical, rock, bluegrass, punk, alternative, etc.)
*he must be VERY smart. I want a guy who is as smart as me, no matter how rare that actually is (I know only three guys who are smarter than me, and still, they are complete idiots at times to the point were I feel that I need to beat them up).
*I truthfully don't care about height, but he has to be okay with me if I'm taller than him. I'm going to wear heals, so he needs to be okay with my being six feet tall.
*he must be into drama/theatre, art, or music (choir, band, orchestra, etc).
*I love a guy with a great imagination--it's a must.
*He must be funny and can take jokes.
*He is EQUAL to me.
*He must know and be good with conversations concerning politics and current events.
There. That's what I want. I'm very picky, and there are only two guys I know (or that I've met) that fit that. Unfortunately, they're my best friends, so it wouldn't work out. lol.

I'm definitely picky — so much so that, after reviewing the very poor selection of guys in my town, that I've decided to just give up. I'd rather be single, anyway. I AM The One for me.

I set standards but it's so funny that all my ex-guys doesn't really fit those standards.
Now I'm so certain that he MUST be presentable, smart, and a good conversationalist. That's all I need. (Add nice-smelling. Hehe.)
And yea, there's a big chance that I'll be forever single if I won't meet one.

Intelligence. Attractive to me. Must have both. Attractive to me does not mean a "model."

i don't think it's always definable..i think it's more that if you click you click and when you love someone unconditionally you will always compromise
