because she is a puppy, teething & bord & lonely. She misses her mother & her siblings. my dog destroyed every bed I bought her but stopped when I stopped buying her a bed. Just got her a pad

dog psycology: basically it needs to be disiplined. you have to pull her away and tell her not to do it. associate the verbal warning with the tearing of the bed everytime she tries to do it. over time she will learn that its wrong. If she is tearing up the bed then she obviously has teeth so its not a teething problem. its a discipline issue. If howver she is teething then get her a rubber toy or something.

Is it a fluffy bed? Faux fur is apparently more fun to chew than just cloth. She might just want to dig a nest.
Sounds like you need a sturdy canvas bed cover and some acceptable chew toys to distract your dog. I recommend one of those knotted cotton ropes.

OH MY GOD LOL MY PUPPY DOES THIS TOO! PUPPYS ARE VERY PLAYFUL AND ARE ALSO TEETHING SOMAYBE THOSE CAN BE TWO REASONS. I DONT THINK IT CAN BE THAT SHE DOESNT LIKE THE BED BECAUSE MY PUPPY LOVES HER BED.

Apparently she isn't pleased with her accomodations. No, I think it's just what puppies do. Mine did the same thing.

my dog does that to our couch is all torn up well they do that bc they are "fixing their bed " to be comfortable but they dont actually do that bc they are bad dogs or for attention they are just neat-freaks -laughs-
