I have a pressure pain, sort of like a headache almost above my right eye. I've been having blurry visions and my eye is now a bit swollen. I already had a cat scan but came out negative. What can it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I am not a doctor, but I would say that it is probably nothing. I get pains above my LEFT eye, and my vision gets blurry alot. My eye is constantly swollen, but that is because of a condition I have. I would say go to the doctor, you might have what I have. Go to a Glacomau Specialist. Much luck to you!

Since you had a CT scan, you should consult again with your doctor to determine the cause. A computerized tomography (CT) does not always show everything.
You could have a sinus infection that is affecting your eye. I would suggest seeing an ophthalmologist (this is an MD and not an optometrist) as well as an ENT specialist. (An otorhinolaryngologist). Ask you family doctor to recommend one if he/she feels it is necessary.

The only way to know for sure is to consult your doctor. It almost sounds like you had some sort of injury or maybe something has bitten you that you are not aware of, like a spider bite. Also, as I suggested above, a sinus infection or an eye infection, both of which can be treated.

Anyway, I wish you success in curing this ailment. I also feel for you. I

The CT scan , was it of the CT of the orbit? Second, did you see an ophthalmologist? Do you have other assoicated symptoms such as double vision, pain on movement of the eye?
