i mean i downloaded a game and tried to open it. it says it can't open it for security reasons. how do i open the game?

Limewire has major viruses!!!!!!!!!!!! It is because of limewire that my hard drive completely fried. I had to get a new PC because my antivirus software wouldn't detect it. I recommend that you uninstall this software.

Ok I assume this isn't your first time dl a game from there. But ok lets see, how big is the file, for a game it would kinda large anywhere from around 100mb to about 4gb (New neverwinter nights is about 2.4gb, I believe). Also what type of file is it? Is it an exe or rar or zip. Maybe the file just got corrupted during transfer. Well if you can give a little more information.

Suggestions:
1. Did you try shutting down limewire and then clicking on it?
2. Try re-downloading it?
3. Incomplete file? (You downloaded it, and it says that it is incomplete?)

normally it wont open because it may contain a virus

its possible that since you pirated the game the software wont open.
