I really don't know. I think love is not God. It is godly, but not God because if it was God a lot of people wouldn't have it. We say and do too many hurtful things to have God with us at all times, our bond is severed with sin. So if we sin and loose God, when we sin we'd loose love too. Wouldn't we? You have a really good question. But it's also sort of hard for me. But I'm also only 14. So maybe there's a better answer from someone older. I hope my answer helped you and your faith in the Lord, our God and Father. "'I am who am' said the Lord to Moses"

Yes, but only real love -- not the limited forms that we call love. All love in human form is ego love, including the love for a spouse, a mother, a father, a child. It's hard to swallow this but it's true -- any time love is restricted to a specific person, it's not real, unconditonal love. However, on the flip side, each of our special relationships (our limitations on love) can be used as tools to learn unconditional love by removing our expectations, desires, and all other projections and concepts from the other.

Not necessarily. There's some human love that's definitely not the equivilent of God. Just like a square is a rectangle but rectangle's not a square.

I think the axiom works in reverse. Love - real love - is Godliness in its purest form, and is the true indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 13)

Love is anything that is not sin (lust). Since God is not sin (lust), love is God, and God is love.
