Average weight of this breed is somewhere in the range of 45 - 65 pounds. There are some that are even larger. Each dog is a little bit different and depends on its parent's size and weight. There is a standard for the breed, but it will only give you average minimum and maximum weights common to the breed.

You should concentrate on feeding your dog a proper diet with a high quality dog food. Your dog will get as big as his genes allow, within reasonable limits. If you're worried about how much to feed your dog, ask your vet...that's the best source for that information.

I had to add this site for the breed standard. It gives everything from ears to tail, including weight standards for the breed.

Bitches measure 56cms at the withers, dogs 61cms; there are no upper height limits.
Bitches' weight starts at 30kgs - 40 kgs, dogs at 36kgs - 46 kgs, it will depend on the size of the animals also i.e bone structure (just a guild line)
a few health issues to aware of.
Hip Dysplasia is a real problem in this breed and screening of both parents and the off spring is a must!
Hip Dysplasia is also reported and is usually apparent between 3 - 12 months of age. This can result in total quadriplegia. (Quadriplegia, also known as tetraplegia, this is a symptom in which paralysis of all four limbs, although not necessarily total paralysis.)
Deafness is also known in some lines. Care must be taken in grooming to catch any skin or coat problems early on. Less commonly reported are juvenile cataracts and prepubertal vaginitis (infection in the uterus) which usually clears with the first oestrous cycle.
