Are American just starting to get upset over illegal immigration?
Or are they getting so feed up with it, that they are speaking out, with no fear of what the politicaly correct crowd thinks ?
NOTE: Where I live at, no one has tried to stop it .... until now...

" Please press 1 for English" They should have been upset long before this. Have you noticed that if you are against ILLEGAL immigration you are a racist? I'm fed up myself, if they want to move here do it according to the law.

I think that the few who knew about illegal immigration and were against it didn't have enough support from others to really do anything abou it. but now that it seems to be the main topic and everyone seems to talk about it and be on either a pro or anti side then yeah more and more people are aware of it. though its funny how many claim that they are "fed up" with it when illegal immigration has been going on for years. makes me wonder if before then they were just ok with it. this isn't a 1 yr problem this is a problem that has been going on for years and will continue to go on for many more. yet many just barely now realize illegals are in the country. makes me wonder if next they will realize that there is a gay people too.talk about being oblivious to the world and events occurring around you.

I would have to agree with you, its been a problem even before Reagan gave them amnesty the first time in the 80's. I think with Fox "news" and the 24 hour news cycle has added greatly to that. We're also a very divided country, with tensions running high from both sides. I'm a democrat, but when it comes to immigration, time to send them HOME!
Also keep in mind that many Mexican illegal immigrants were originally swooned by the GWB for the 00 and 04 elections. No i'm not slamming Bush, i'm just saying that after he tried very hard to get the latino vote, and succeeded. His recommendation for immigration policy wasn't all bad in my opinion, but he got stabbed in the back by his own party in congress.

Yes. A good explanation would be the link provided, how illegal aliens are abusing the welfare system, education system, medical system. They are criminals and most federal prison inmates are illegal aliens.
They are abusing FEDERAL LAWS that the average American doesn't have the luxury of doing!
DO AMERICA A FAVOR, CHECK OUT THE LINK!

Funny, this depends on where in America you happen to be. For example, in New York City--the focus is on integrating immigrants into American society--and in standing up to what is perceived to be vigilantism and hatred towards others. Perhaps some can see human value where others can't.

No. Most Americans have been fed up with illegal aliens flooding our country for years. In the border states especially. They need to be deported and by no means given amnesty for committing a crime.

No history is full of laws and policies that were to stop, hinder, and just make it hard on immigrants. IE Chinese restrictions in the 1850's, taxes on non-white workers in the early 1900's, etc etc etc...
