Also, could any vegans out there explain, if they do eat Jello, why they eat it if it contains Jellatin which comes from animals? Also the mono and di-glycerin in their toothpaste?

Many good people were not vegetarians.
Was Mother Teresa a vegetarian? No...
What about St. Francis? He loved animals and he is always pictured surrounded by animals. Nope. he ate meat too.
George Washington, Benjamin Franklin.... they all ate meat too.
Even Jesus Christ wasn't good enough to be a vegetarian.

I guess the question should be why would anyone want to be a vegetarian? Don't they know that meat is a good source of protein and vitamins? Perhaps they think that all those farm animals would be running around in the forests if everyone was a vegetarian... How stupid. Don't they realize that those animals would have never been born if it weren't for us meat eaters? Why those animals couldn't exist in the wild.

And vegetarians are such hypocrites!! They say they are protecting animals. But they wear leather shoes and use many, many products with animal components it them. Don't they realize the mono and di-glycerin's in their toothpaste comes from animals. The gelatin in their Jello is from animals. We use animal products for many, many things that vegetarians pay no attention to.. Why? Because they're hypocrites.

First off I don't have any excuse; I'm not doing anything that would require an excuse.

People are omnivores, that means we can eat both meat and plants. Our bodies are designed to eat and digest both. If we were only going to eat plants our stomach and teeth would look a lot different then they do.

That said it is possible to live just on plants. You have to be careful to get a well balanced diet.

Personally, I like the taste of meat, and yes I've eaten many a vegetarian dish, enjoy a lot of them. I hunt and fish and don't have any problem with killing my own food. I try not to waste any part of the animals I eat.

And before you ask I've seen the PETA video. But I also know that PETA kills over 80% of all the pets they take in, while they protest shelters for killing less then 10% of the pets they take in.

Ok, I only eat animal that eat plants or that eat animals that eat plants.

Have fun led a good life.

EDIT FOR vegan&proud

MYTH: "Humans were designed to eat meat."

If we weren't designed to eat meat we couldn't eat it at all.

MYTH: "Meat protein is better than plant protein. You have to combine plant foods to make the protein just as good."

It not the protein that's the concern it the amino acids. Most plants don't have enough of all types of amino acids; some are low on one type while another is low in a different one. So you need to eat a balanced diet to make sure you get enough of all types of amino acids.

Benjamin Franklin WAS A VEGETARIAN

Ben later gave up vegetarianism; during the voyage from Boston to Philadelphia he ate fish.

"Finally, if humans were designed to eat meat, we wouldn't suffer from heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis from doing so."

So just what to Vegan and Vegetarian die from? Believe it or not most die from Heart attacts! Then Cancer and they get diabetes and osteoporsis also.

I could spend a lot more time correcting your assumptions. While some of your stuff is right on the mark, some of it is wrong.
You should spend a lot more time researching your "facts" and not just taking them verbatim from a vegan web site.

The Inconvenience of preparing the food. There are not that many restaurants that have that convenience and when you ask for the menu item to be adjusted they Do Not adjust the price. For example, a McMuffin or other breakfast sandwich from McDonald's will be still the same price even though the meat has been removed. BK will make an egg/cheese croissant but for lunch time that veggie pattie is disgusting. Where I work in a rural area there are not that many choices and that means I have to prepare something. That's my lack of motivation for keeping it up. I do vegeterainism but not on a steady basis.

Well I believe that humans are omnivores. They can
either eat some meat or some vegetables but I think
to be truly balanced you need to eat both kinds.
As long as it is Meat that is fresh or organic and
the vegetables are cooked lightly or raw. We have a
ton of processed foot and meat in this culture and
I don't think any of us are really meant to be eating
that!

I also don't believe vegetarians are that healthy.
In college I had friends that were and they were nice
people but they were pretty thin and had a sallow tone to
their skin. Which in my mind screams nutritional deficiency
They may have lower cholesterol than many of us Omnis
but how many of them are weight lifters or body builders?

The bottom line is I respect their choice I just don't think it is
all that healthy for their bodies.

I have been a vegetarian for most of my life. So I have to say to eat meat hurts me. I tried to a few years ago and it caused some SERIOUS stomach/digestive issues as my body lost the enzyme to break down meat. My cholesterol is great, and I feel great. Not to mention it helps me stay a smaller size because of the fats involved.(meat takes longer to digest to)
I first started at a younger age because I loved animals. But now it's just a way of life. I do not get upset or mad at people who eat meat as it's their choice. It's just nasty to me, plus with all the growth hormones and antibiotics they inject in these critters cause a WHOLE new subject for me.
Jello is not even a vegetarian item which most are unaware of. Gelatin comes from cow hoof, which is also in alot of candy's like gummi bears and marshmallow. So it is a tempting thing sometimes, but just a choice I made and stuck with.
I have 2 kids one doesn't eat meat and the other does!
Have a great day.
Just for the record...No milk, dairy products ,eggs, cooking oils unless it's olive or veg. oil, lard (no fast food..lol) And it's not just greens (rabbit food) and potatoes...much more to it!
And they only thing I have to watch is my iron levels which I find in beets. I get my protein from peanut butter. I take a daily vitamin as well. But it effects everyone different.

Desire not strong enough to care to stop eating meat. Maybe if there was a stronger education element out there, such as " don't smoke because of this..." then I might stop eating meat. But, I'm fine with eating meat. Though, I've thought of becoming a vegetarian...tried it for a day or two...but then always seem to come back to the thought of...I'll try it another time and begin eating meat again.

Because I do like some meats, and love seafood. I don't think I could cook without chicken broth. I just don't like huge chunks of meat. So little pieces of fish are OK, ground meats are OK, but I'd rather have the bulk of the dish be veggie.

Yeah, I'm weird.

aside from the fact that humans are omnivorous - we eat both veggies and meat

here is a link to a book review - of a vegan lifestyle - that radically improved once they put meat back in their diet

they were on the Hallelujah diet - which is strictly fruits and vegetables, and distilled water

I love meat. You got teeth and a digestive system designed for the job, so why not eat meat? If we didn't eat meat, then the animal population would explode and disease would spread rapidly.
