This doesn't technically answer your question, but: not all fundamentalists want to be governed by a state controlled by them and the Bible. Many accept secular law and government because they regard human government as necessarily "fallen" and corrupt. They don't want to have anything to do with it, if they can help it. Immoral laws are regarded as par for the course and, so long as they aren't forced to do anything immoral, they are willing to accept the fact that the law allows others to do things that are immoral. They don't *like* it, but they aren't willing to force their rules on others in order to stop it.
I'm not a fundamentalist, by the way, so I'm not trying to defend them out of personal interest. I just want to emphasize that they are more diverse than most people realize.
Anyone who would kill if they believed that some god tells them to is a danger to those around them. They don't really believe that killing is immoral or that people have a right to live; they only believe that killing is immoral until god orders otherwise and that people have no right to live - only a privilege to live until god tells some to revoke it.
Whom would you rather live next to: an atheist who refrains from harming you because they believe it's wrong, or a fundamentalist who refrains from harming you because they have not yet heard voices instructing them to come over in the middle of the night to kill you?

If you compare the biblical laws to the Constitution, you will see that basically most are the same, just not as extreme as the fundamentalists would like as far as punishment goes.
If you go back far enough in the law books, you might find that sex between unmarried couples is illegal and anything other than normal man-woman sex is illegal (man on top of woman).NO blowjobs,no muff diving,no spanking or bondage,no masterbation, etc.

First off, the constitution was formed by using God's Ten Commandment laws. As for putting you in prison if you shop on Sunday, what makes the first day of the week so special that you should not shop on the venerable day of the sun, a pagan holiday? If you read your bible, it says the day you should worhip on and not shop on is the Seventh day, or Saturday. If there were laws that went with the Ten Commandments and that would jail you for unmarried sex as well as for other things that were against the ten Commandments, we would live in a much better society. But then we give those that do not believe in them the same rights and priveleges we give to everyone so that does not happen. As for killing homosexuals, that is up to God, not man to do but if God said to kill them, then yes, i would do as God commands as He is the ultimate law, not man. He is the Creator and the only one that has that right as the Creator.

The constitution was based on Biblical principles...that is why America has been so prosperous. It seems that many homosexuals want tolerance for their sin, but they do not tolerate truth that points out their sin. Thankfully, however, some homosexuals have turned away from their sin and have come to understand the power available to them through Jesus Christ.

To make the accusations you did shows your either pushing an agenda or intentionally deceiving. To compare Christians to terrorists who kill innocents and children brutally is a horrible thing to say. You owe a lot of people an apology and if you don't then it will be obvious where you stand. as one who will lie or say anything to promote your way of thinking.
Where are the people killed or brutalized by Christians and if you say the law doesn't allow it well it doesn't stop the terrorists

Jesus preached love of your neighbors and peace-what they are talking about is the opposite. Christians are told not judge but to love-whatever someone else is doing-even if its against the bible, we are suppose to love them and try to steer them back onto the path of God-not persecute them. The bible is open to interpretation-people can view it in different ways-which is why we have a constitutional to govern the people, that's not religious biased. God is the only one who can condemn and punish someone not humans.

You bet they would. That is why they are just as much a threat as the terrorists, and must be resisted.
