Unless you feel a lump in your breast or the color of the area around your nipple is reddish or other than the brownish color, you most likely do not have Cancer and thank God for that.
That said, you should tell your mother that you have concerns about your breast and she should make you an appointment ASAP with the gynecologist. You may have a hormonal imbalance, you may have injured that breast somehow possibly playing sports or some other issue may be causing this soreness but that is for a doctor to decide.
The longer you wait the more anxiety this issue will create for you - you will be soooo very relieved when the doctor tells you it is nothing to worry about.
Good luck to you.

HI, I had the same thing with me i went to the doctors and he told me that it is what is called fibrocystic breasts. It is a disease of the breast tissues that when you are getting ready for your menstrual cycle they become inflamed and your breast will hurt. It can only affect one of your breasts or both in some cases. I would go to your gyn and talk with him about this. I take Vitamin E it starts out in 200mg but you can go higher in the mg. It has helped me tremendously! Cancer does not hurt you like the way you are describing your pain and you would feel a lump if you had cancer. Hope this information helps you. Good luck!

Honey, i really dont think it's cancer, they say that cancer doesn't really "hurt" and there are usually lumps that are hard, not soft lumps. It could be that your hormones are changing or yes, maybe it could be an infection in the ducts that are in your breast. Tell your mom in great detail and definately go to the doctor, as i'm sure you must be in great discomfort. But truly I think the chances of cancer are slim. I'm sure you will be all right :)

It depends if you mean if it's hurting externally or internally. If you feel like it hurts kinda like a scrape or a bruise, then it shouldn't be a problem.
But, if you're worried about it, you should go to a doctor and get an X-ray to check for any sort of tumor or lump.
Since you're almost 16, I don't think it's very likely that you'll have breast cancer at this age.

I doubt very much you need to worry about cancer. Could be just your age & development. Think though have you done anything lately where you might have bumped yourself or stressed a muscle. Sometimes you can do this & not even realize at the time that you have bruised yourself inside. Sports or gym class. Let sometime go & see if it improves. If you are still experiencing discomfort tell your Mother. She will see it is looked after.

It could be that they are growing. The growth process can be painful. However, to be sure you really need to see a Doc. If you have liquid coming from the nipples then you have a problem. The possibility of cancer at your age is highly unlikely but anything is possible. Go see a dr. honey. And good luck.

In most cases cancer does not hurt. Look up the proper way to perform a self breast exam. If you do not detect any lumps/bumps, it's probably what my ma used to call
"growing pains" LOL. If you are menstruating, breast tenderness is normal and yes just one side is common. It is never wrong to see your obgyn doctor to rule out any other problems or if the pain stays AFTER your cycle ends.

I bet you are about to start your period or you are finishing your period which can cause your breast to be sore. Even though you said it hurts in just one place I don't think its cancer because cancer signs or symtoms don't hurt. If it hurts really bad I would talk to my gynocologist or family doctor about the pain and how long it lasts. I get sharp pains or feel really sore and tender around and before my period starts. Or check for pregnancy if you are still pondering this issue.

Go to a doctor and get it checked. Tell your Mom more detail. It's good she knows, but she possibly may not understand how painful this is for you. I had this problem when I was younger, I had it checked, and turns out, my bra was too small!! It could be something as simple as that, but it is good to get it checked.
Good Luck

It isn't cancer. It's growing pains it happened to me growing up too. You might want to see a doctor just to rule out other things but I am pretty certain it's not cancer. I know you must be a bit freaked out so go see a doctor to put your mind at ease
